Lone Star Quiltworks
At Lone Star Quiltworks we can help you get your quilt tops out of the closet and onto the bed, wall, table, or whereveryou want to display them.Your quilting will be done on a computerized twenty-four-inch-wide Handi Quilter Forte. You will be able to pick your pattern, design, and thread with Maegan when you drop your quilt top off. We will give you a written estimate for our services plus an expected completion date. Our shop Forte contains many designs housed in the memory that you may choose from. Some may even be combined to create a new pattern of your choice. Our main focus is not so much “custom”work as getting your quilt top quilted in an efficient manner so you will have little waiting time and can of course buy more fabric from us to move on to your next project! We can do custom designs inside of specific blocks for a slight increase in price.
Come and give us a try or use Becky, Debbie, Dede, Janet, or Norma to help you finish your quilting projects!
Becky has been quilting off and on for over 25 years, as her kids and travels would allow. After living in East Africa for seven years, Becky and her family moved back to the USA and made College Station their home. With the youngest of her children rapidly approaching adulthood, she and her mother invested in a Bernina Q-20 with all the bells and whistles and started Ruby Crown Studio. She has a great eye for detail and loves to add that special touch to make your quilt unique! She also loves helping people get their unfinished projects out of the closet and on display! Her current turn around time is about 2 weeks, for edge-to-edge quilting. Block by Block quilting is also an option, for a more customized look. Call or Email today to set up an appointment!
